BLUE Calming, restful and relaxing. Cool, calming effects of blue can help you sleep. Great in a bedroom.
GREEN Restful. Signifies growth, renewal and health. This will go with so many colors because it’s considered a neutral color. Great in the Bedroom and bathroom.
YELLOW Hope and Happiness. Great in a room that lacks natural daylight. Yellow works great in a kitchen.
PURPLE Royalty and Spirituality. Deep or bright purples suggest riches while lighter purples are more romantic and delicate.
RED Energizing. Also associated with romance. Red is a great accent color.
ORANGE Energetic, Strength and Endurance. Peach is receptive, warm and welcoming. It complements skin color.
BROWN Earthy and real. Stimulates the appetite. Tan, taupe, beige or cream make excellent backgrounds helping accompanying colors appear richer and brighter.
WHITE Purity and innocence. White with color splashes works well in smaller, less sunny rooms.
BLACK Elegance and Drama. It’s a great accent color. Polished black surfaces speak of formality, i.e. black marble and granite or black lacquer furniture.
